Birmingham Transformers Limited has its roots in a business founded by R.P. Hackley in 1981 to manufacture high quality transformers and associated products. The company soon achieved a sound reputation both for the quality of it's products and for a fast and flexible response to customer needs. The steady but sustained growth of the company's output and customer base resulted in a move to a larger freehold premises in 1992 and in 1995, adoption of limited company status. Today, still under the personal control of it's founder, the company's customer base extends throughout the whole of the UK, the Irish Republic and into continental Europe and beyond. The company's success stems from it's firm commitment to quality, a commitment both demonstrated and re-affirmed by the achievement of ISO 9001 status in 2005. |
